Short Term Disability Coverage

All team members receive Short Term Disability (STD) free of charge as a benefit. However, team members cannot receive STD payments until they have first completed twelve (12) continuous months of service with ACBL prior to the Leave of Absence (LAO) beginning.

Please note that prior service does not apply. It must be twelve months of continuous service leading up to the LOA beginning.

Below is schedule detailing what percentage of base pay a team member can potentially receive under Short Term Disability

CONTINUOUS YEARS OF SERVICE	SHORT-TERM DISABILITY BENEFIT
Less than 1 year	No Benefit
Less than 3 years	55% of Base Salary
Less than 10 years	60% of Base Salary
10+ years	65% of Base Salary

Long Term Disability Coverage

All team members receive Long Term Disability (LTD) free of charge as a benefit. However, team members cannot receive LTD payments until they have first completed twelve (12) continuous months of service with ACBL prior to the Leave of Absence (LAO) beginning.

Please note that prior service does not apply. It must be twelve months of continuous service leading up to the LOA beginning.

ACBL is not involved in the review/payment process of LTD. Mutual of Omaha has the final word on any approvals/denials of LTD applications.
